Robert Redford

The entertainment industry has introduced the world to numerous talented actors since its inception. Well, one such star worth noting would undoubtedly be Robert Redford. Beginning his career on stage and TV, one of the actor’s earlier works was for a minor role in Tall Story. After a couple more productions, though, he finally got his first big shot to fame on the medium thanks to his performance in Barefoot in the Park.

In more recent years, it’s no secret that producers spend significant portions of investment money creating projects centered on comic book characters, especially superheroes. Well, with that in mind, it’s safe to say most filmgoers nowadays would recognize Redford for his appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Alexander Pierce. Of course, his stint on the superhero franchise isn’t enough to shadow his other achievements. After all, besides acting, Redford has also directed more than a few movies, the most notable one being Ordinary People, which won four Academy Awards.
